Arabic K-12 Network lauches the "Haya! Project"
The "Haya! Project" is short for Hayya Nudarris Ma'ayeer Ta'alum Al-'Arabiyya! or Standards Based Arabic Teaching. The project is funded by STARTALK and implemented by the National Capital Language Resource Center to develop Standards-based Arabic teachers in the U.S. The Haya! Project was completed in early 2010 and is now available to the public at haya.us

STARTALK offers professional development programs designed to increase teaching knowledge and skills, presented with a blend of theory, research, and practice.
